Has anyone had to change there bottom engine crankshaft pulley due to wearing out fan belts to quick on a IH 2388 and does the balancer unit unbolt off the pulley
On a Qsc 8.3 cummins I changed one on the fan drive pulley. Dirt can really wear those poly vee pulleys and belts over time. Depends some on the amount of belt wrap around the pulley and the belt routing. Maybe a white paint maker on the vee see how deep into the grooves the belt is running?
